Biznik Happy Hour
On Wednesday, during Happy Hour, I’ll talk about business blogging with the Bizniks, a business networking group “that doesn’t suck.” I met Biznik number one, Dan McComb, at the Business Blogging 101 Seminar while he was experiencing a blog epiphany and he invited me to talk at their meeting this month.

Good to see some personality in networking. I live in Seattle and am committed to helping people network. Here is my blog

It’s cool to see what you’ve done and your connection to Seattle, WA. I’m always looking to Network myself and think it’s an essential way to go in all things.
Hey Byron, thanks for the stellar job you did at last night’s biznik.com get together. That was the highest attendance we’ve ever had - nearly the whole group. I’m sure you gave many of the crowd something to chew on. I got up this morning and setup my blog (www.com2020.com/notebook), my diary as a training consultant, research on what works, interesting people I meet (like you!) along the way.
Keep up the inspiring work!
P.S. Message from a bumper sticker in the Apple store in Cupertino: “Changing The World, One Person At A Time”
Ian,
I had a great time with the Bizniks and I think they’d agree that bloggers are a good fit for the independent, entrepreneur, small business type.
Howard,
Six posts in one day on a new blog! Nice, keep that up and thanks for the kind words. Very much appreciated. Speaking of Apple, a funny quote about Jobs came up at the Biznik Happy Hour. Someone told me that he once said, “the problem with Microsoft is that they didn’t drop enough acid in College.”
Check your links on your blog. I wasn’t able to leave a comment.
So do you have any other Networking gigs going on?
Regards,
Ian

Biznik does, yes, in December and we’re working on a Blog Boot Camp class for them. As for the Blog Business Summit, our 2006 events will be announced soon.
