27 Emails From Us

by Steve Broback on January 31, 2006

Hey whoa! Sorry! I was doing some housekeeping on the site, moving entries around and our subscription service apparently recognized the import as new entries and sent them out, all 27 of them. I apologize, have no idea why it would do that.

Please note: we don’t spam and in those emails there is an opt-out. We have no plans to move more entries around, so that shouldn’t happen again.

Thank you for your prompt reply to this problem. You again exhibit an extreme professionalism that is refreshing.

I really enjoy this blog, and I praise it every chance I get, so rest assured: I am your ally.

These things happen, and I once got a virus email from Nick Usborne, my favorite web writing expert. Someone hijacked his email newsletter program somehow and sent out virus email to all his subscribers. I did not open it, but many did I guess.

So I’m aware that unfortunate things can happen, and it’s not what was intended.

But, gosh, at first I paranoically thought you were mad at me or something.

Again, thanks for the fast response. My opinion of you is rising higher every day.

:^)

Thanks man. I’ll send an email to MT-Notifier and see if that’s a known issue.
